On April 21st, 2026, Makoa Technology Services successfully completed a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 assessment conducted an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) accredited by the Cyber AB.
CMMC Level 2 alignment confirms implementation of the 110 security requirements derived from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 Rev. 2 for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Certification at CMMC Level 2 demonstrates that:
Security controls protecting CUI have been independently validated
- All practices are institutionalized and documented as MET
- Technical safeguards are implemented and verified
- Governance and oversight mechanisms are in place
- Compliance was assessed by an accredited third party
